In 2012, your DOLLARS made a DIFFERENCE in the lives of those affected by breast cancer!
Below are a few highlights from SSM St. Joseph Health Center programs that were directly funded by grants made possible by the Karen Weidinger Foundation in 2012.
- Over 1,100 women and their families had their lives touched by the generosity of the KWF in 2012.
- In 2012 approximately 580 wigs & head coverings were distributed to women, which is a 23% increase over the prior year.
- A new event "Girls Night Out" was developed in 2012 and 75 women participated in an educational night along with pampering and spa-like services.
