“Team Ta-Ta’s Take Missouri” to Raise Money!

What will you be doing this Labor Day Weekend? A family BBQ? A trip
to the lake? A little "R&R"? Leigh Vanetten and Donna Meadows will be using
their holiday weekend and the following week to make a difference in
the lives of those living with cancer. Together they will set out on
the "Team Ta-Ta's Take Missouri" journey along Old Route 66 and cycle
for 327 miles, beginning on Saturday (Sept. 3rd) in Baxter Springs,
Kansas, and ending at the Casino Queen in East St. Louis, IL the
following Thursday (Sept. 8th).

Why? Well, according to the soon-to-be Air Force retirees, "Yes, Cancer
sucks! But adversity only makes you stronger". Leigh is a 5 1/2 cancer
survivor, and would like use this "Epic Adventure" to make a difference!

Meet Leigh and Donna and hear about their journey at the next KWF Quarterly
Open House Meeting on Tuesday, September 13th at SSM Kisker off of
Highway 94 in St. Charles, just north of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Dinner
served at 6:00pm (compliments of Concetta's Restaurant) and meeting will
be from 6:30 - 7:30. All are welcome to attend, but please RSVP to
