Mission Statement

"Empowering Women with Knowledge & Support to Win the Fight Against Breast Cancer"

The Karen Weidinger Foundation was formed in 2004 to support St. Charles women in their fight against breast cancer. All monies raised stay in St. Charles and support is provided through our provider partners SSM Health - Breast Care, Pink Ribbon Good and Gateway to Hope.

Our Community Partners

Our Mission is accomplished utilizing the services of our Community Partners. Financial and Development support is provided to these Community Partners.

Pink Ribbon Good

Financial Support is provided to Pink Ribbon Good to support their mission to provide healthy meals, rides to treatment, housecleaning services, cancer education and peer support to breast and gynecological cancer patients and their families, independent of age, stage or socio-economic status and free of charge.

Gateway To Hope

Financial Support is provided to Gateway to Hope to support their mission to champion change by removing barriers to affordable, timely, quality breast healthcare, and empowering people to live full and healthy lives.

SSM Foundation

Financial Support is provided to SSM Health Foundation, St. Louis for their Empowering & Engaging Women Program. This program provides reduced/no cost breast screenings, diagnostic services, health education, barrier reduction services and lay navigation support to low income, uninsured or under-insured women who would otherwise not receive this potentially lifesaving care.
